Chase's birthday weekend of fun!

Chase's birthday weekend was amazing! First he woke up on Saturday with McDonald's breakfast (his favorite), went to Idaho Falls and BOTH 1 hour massages (my sister gave me a gift card for mine earlier), and went to Olive Garden for dinner. We had a relaxing Sunday filled with sleeping in, (thank you day-light savings time), cupcakes in nursery (we are teachers), roast, potatoes, and shrimp for dinner, and the Highs came over for dinner and cupcakes!
Here are some pictures from our great weekend!

Halloween 2009!!!

We carved pumkins at my sister's house!
Cameron and Cade did a wonderful job!
Chase and I with our spider! It took him forever to carve it, but it was worth it! It turned out great!
Our finished pumkins!
My sister threw a Halloween party at the church and we were able to attend! It was sooooo much fun!
There was a pumkin cake walk where the kids could win cupcakes!
Cookies decorating!
The High boys had such adorable costumes!
Chase and Dallin.......Chase's mean face.......
Our Costumes! Chase was a large personal trainer and I was his sundae! My favorite picture of us is him sitting down! He is so big you can't even see his face!

Happy Birthday Babe!

Today is Chase's 24th Birthday and I wanted to let him and everyone know the top 24 reasons why I love him! I thank Heavenly Father everyday for him in my life and I am eternally grateful for his mother for giving birth to him. (He was almost an 11 pound baby)
Happy Birthday Chase!!!

  1. He is always a worthy temple and priesthood holder. This makes our marriage stronger everyday and helps us become closer to our Heavenly Father.
  2. He is so hott and sexy! Whenever I look at him I think how I am the luckiest girl in the world to have such a hottie!
  3. He is NEVER embarrassed to kiss me infront of anyone. He wants everyone in the world to know that he loves me and I adore it!
  4. He tells me how much he loves me probably over 20 times a day.
  5. He is the smartest man I know. He is constantely teaching me something new everyday.
  6. He is always willing to help anyone out, no matter what the circumstance.
  7. He is AMAZING with children and will make the best dad someday.
  8. I come first in his life.
  9. He is very clean. This is a HUGE deal for me who is very OCD about how clean our home is.
  10. He loves to spend time with both sides of our families and even volunteers to have our nephews stay the night.
  11. He says thank you for every meal that I make and tells me how much he loves it.
  12. He is such a wonderful athelete. He is the best soccer player and I look forward to the day when he will be able to teach our children how to play sports.
  13. He surprises me with flowers, candy, cookies, and even dinner.
  14. He has the best smile ever! This is the first thing that attracted me to him.
  15. He allows me to buy whatever I want and even trusts me to budget our expenses.
  16. He tells me everyday that I can quit my horrible job and work at a job for less than half the money, but one that I wouldn't dread.
  17. He looks forward to the day when he becomes a father.
  18. He loves to spend the weekends with just me watching Friends.
  19. He works out almost everyday to stay in shape. He will think this is a lie, but I do love a man with a nice body!
  20. He dresses very nice. I have always loved his jeans even when we were dating. I think a man with a good pay of jeans is very attractive.
  21. He is the sweetest man ever. Seriously if you spend about 3 minutes with him, you will see.
  22. He never makes me drive anywhere when he is in the car. (even a 22 hour drive to Missouri, I just slept)
  23. He makes me always want to become better. He never misses saying his prayers morning and night, reads his scriptures daily, and never misses church.
  24. He is always there for me no matter what. He allows me to talk his hear off about the dumbest things even when he is busy with school.

I have gone blogging crazy!!!!

What happens when you have a day off, the house is cleaned, laundry done, and you have nothing to do.......well you go blogging crazy! Enjoy reading everything we have done over the past 3 months! I was way behind so I just got caught up and it feels good!

And1/ Aaron and Josh come to visit!

My brother Josh was in charge of the AND1 basketball game in Utah and Idaho so he fly out here for it. Since my cousin Aaron is AMAZING at basketball, especially dunking he played in the game! It was great to see them both and we had a ton of fun! Thanks Josh for the tickets!

Josh and Carter!

Aaron playing in the game! Chase was so excited to see him dunk!
See he is amazing!

Nice Shot!

Slumber Party with the High Boys!

First off we had Cade sleep over on Tuesday because his mommy was sick and needed a break! We made cookies and took them to people! He loved being the center of attention in our home! Then the rest of the High boys came over on Friday and we build a fort, watched movies, ate popcorn, made more cookies, and played games! It was so much fun!
He is such a big helper!

Yes I took a picture of him sleeping! This was my teddy bear my best friend gave me a long time ago and he wanted to sleep with it! I thought it was so cute!
We told them we were going to build a fort in the living room to watch movies and eat popcorn. Dallin said, "Kortney, what is a fort?" I am so disappointed in Ashley for not teaching her 5 year old what a fort it! Chase and I build them all the time without kids!
One with Carder right before he went to bed! He was TIRED!

Bear World!

I have lived in Idaho for 4 years and my sister 9, but we have never been to Bear World until recently! Ashley got an amazing price for a car load so we went! It was really cool to see these bears just walk in front of cars and it be no big deal! Here are some pictures from our trip!

The adorable High boys! They were so excited to see the bears!

Look at this one walk in between the cars

They also had rides for the kids after we went through the park! They LOVED them!
Poor Carter got kissed by a deer! All we could do was laugh and oh course take pictures! He didn't care for it much though!

It's amazing that they could just go up to a deer and pet it!
Us and our adopted children!
